2019: Kartfesting basert på beskrivelse i litteraturen, sett i lys av ortofoto og terreng. Må om mulig kontrolleres i felt for nøyaktig geometri.
Fra A. Nummedals (1929) "Stone Age Finds in Finnmark", s. 38-39:
"In Repvågeidet there is a little tarn , dammed by two beach-ridges, one on the north side of the tarn, the other on the south, both at 20 m above sea-level. On both the covering turf had been blown away, and here, scattered about on the surface, were worked pieces of flint, quartz, and quartzite. I tried to dig, but this proved hardly worth while, as it was no culture-bearing layer (...)."
